Eye for Transport (eft) has produced its first conference de-brief - a wrap-up document for the European 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum which took place in Amsterdam on 13-14 November.
The Debrief includes information on ‘3PL and Customer Relationship’, and follows the debate about the reasoning behind shorter term contracts and where the lack of innovation is coming from.
According to eft: "Another interesting highlight focusses on the omnichannel retail discussion in which Frost and Sullivan predicted there would be '80 billion connected devices by 2025'. The panel than analysed what that would mean for retailers and the audience was asked to share their view in a live polling session.
"Furthermore, the women in logistics session ignited a lively debate, and opinions were freely shared under eft’s twitter hash tag ‘#3PLEU’."
Event Director Sophie Farrow added: “This debrief is just a small snapshot of the fantastic discussion that was generated at this year’s European 3PL Summit & CSCO Forum. It provides some great insight into a number of the key trends that logistics and supply chain executives are facing , with discerning observations from the industry elite.”
