Re-Routing to Poland
11 June 2014
Routes Europe will be returning to Poland in 2016.
The highly-successful Routes Europe - which will taking place in the Scottish city of Aberdeen on 12-14 April - will be held in Poland for the second time for its 11th edition in 2016.
According to an announcement published by Aviation Media today (11 June), the event will be hosted by Kraków Airport and its partners the Malopolska Region, the Municipality of Kraków and Malopolska Tourism Organisation.
More than 1,200 delegates are expected to attend the event in 2016, compared to the 300 who attended the first ever Routes Europe, held in Warsaw in 2006.
Jan Pamula, president of the board at Kraków Airport, said that hosting the Routes Europe event is “proof of our strong position in the European markets, an opportunity to present our potential to new airlines and strong marketing support, while for Kraków and the Malopolska Region it is a chance for promotion among tourism industry opinion leaders.”
